2. Do I need a visitor’s pass every time I go to the classroom?
YES!!! Before visiting please check in with the front office first. You need to do this if you plan to walk though the building.

Please stop by the front office. Your child will receive a tardy slip and the office staff will find someone to escort your child to class!

You can also email me ([email protected])! I will check my email every morning before work, during my planning period, and after school.
If you are not able to email you can also write a note and place it in your child homework folder.
6. When is the best time to talk to you about my child?
During a scheduled conference time! Being a teacher is busy work so I am constantly running around, going to meetings, and planning awesome things for my students.
You can always text me on remind, email me ([email protected]) or call my classroom (512-841-4829) to schedule a conference or to have a quick chat!
The best time to reach me by phone is before or after school hours. Once the school day starts my focus is on the students and I rarely get a chance to glance at my email and cannot talk for long on the phone.
7. Can I eat lunch with my child?
Yes! Check in with the front office and meet us in the cafeteria!
I will send your child through the lunch line if he/she does not have a packed lunch so if you plan to bring a special meal please arrive early for so that your child does not get a food tray!

- Visiting the Library

- Eating lunch with your child
- Volunteering in the classroom
- Volunteering at a school event or party during school hours
- Volunteering for a field trip-you must sign in at the office before following our bus or walking with us to our field trip destination
